My name is Kate (shock!) and during the day I work on education and community projects at a concert hall in central London. At other times I am a drummer, cyclist, and new found coffee drinker. I also enjoy taking photos, mainly of buildings it seems, and chasing after improbable lighting conditions which then never show up the the way I want when I shoot them. Hence, I also like playing with Photoshop to an unhealthy degree. Anyway, the aim of this blog is to photo-document my travels around America whilst hopefully learning more about photography on the way. All photos are shot with my Canon EOS 500D and a Canon EF-S 17-85mm lens. None are edited (since I’m mainly uploading from 25c p/m computer terminals at backpacker hostels).
